Here comes ZANU PF again with a fake war, yet Zimbabweans CCC and the rest of the world are fighting the Real War with Corona Virus aka COVID-19 and MDC Reading reacts to the Kangaroo COVID-20 Judgement.
On Teusday 31st of March 2020, Movement for Democratic Change (MDC) Members from United Kingdom (U.K.) Reading Branch had been eagerly awaiting the recent decision by the Supreme Court of Zimbabwe in the case between Pastor President and Advocate Nelson Chamisa and Dr Tokhozani Khupe.
Following the decision, the MDC Reading Chat room was alive with messages going back and forth, chiding against the Judgement by the pro Zimbabwe African National Union Patriotic Front (ZANU PF) Jurists, in favour of Thokozani Khupe who seems to be a ZANU PF Stooge and pro Political Actors Dialogue (POLAD).
After the news was supplied, Shylette Chipangura started by asking, “why would the courts decide this. Its lock down? She then followed on with, “ZANU tactics.” Alice Majola added her opinion in agreement with Shylette, typing, “I was thinking the same.”
Maria Mwaru followed on by typing, “I still stand with Chamisa and I believe ZANU PF has something to do with this.
Jarson Chibvupe continued where he wrote, “she will keep her own party and we are not even interested.”
One of the most interesting parts was a quick poll that was done. The poll is not scientific and was not secret.
MDC Reading Members were asked if any of them were willing to be led by Thokhozani Khupe. At first no one responded. When pressed, no one was willing to be led by Khupe.
The strongest response came from Jarson who wrote,
“This is evidence to everyone that Zanu PF are very selfish and they don’t deserve any respect from any normal person . They think by supporting Khupe into power , it will weaken MDC , l encourage all Zimbabweans to see through this and from this , Zanu PF and minions they want to impose on us will not have the respect of the Nation.
I will not accept Khupe as my leader”
In conclusion, given that MDC Reading, is one of the most active Branches in the U.K. and is proudly twinned with MDC Marondera Central in Zimbabwe the rejection of Khupe is likely worrying for her and her cohorts. Instead of being power hungry, ZANU PF should have been worried about saving lives. Unfortunately for Thokozani Khupe, her less than 1% votes in the Zimbabwe 2018 Elections, which equaled just 2 Parliamentary seats and her love for evil ZANU PF, it seems, the chances of her having a Reading U.K. Branch are slim to none.
Thus far MDC Reading has not yet called for a meeting to officially discuss Khupe.
