Zimbabwe and MDCA family celebrate the acquittal of Tungamirai Madzokere and Last Maengahama by the Supreme court. It is really sad that the two spent 8 years in prison for a murder crime that they did not commit. The two languished in prison simply because they were MDC members and Zanu pf would not make informed decisions if any opposition came into their net. It is with a heavy heart that our two brothers lost a lot during the time spent in prison .
As MDCA Reading Branch chair person, I was moved by the ordeal and after talking to leader Last Maengahama narrating the trauma of spending time languishing in prison for a crime not committed, I felt great need to help our leaders through fundraising . As Reading Branch ideas have been brought forward and we are behind our two brothers. What they lost during 8 years is irreplaceable but we are going to stand in the gap and try to narrow it. This is all because of a military government which is aiming at eliminating MDC Alliance family.
