Following the death of Zimbabwe Foreign Affairs Minister, Sibusiso Moyo, who succumbed to Covid 19,Zanu Pf should realise the need to pay attention to its health care system. In this case, hopefully Zimbabwe political climate will also change as Covid 19 knows no boundaries. Gone are the days when ministers would fly abroad for medical attention but with Covid 19 this time around, all travel corridors are closed, ” it’s each man for himself “.
Sibusiso Moyo should have paid attention to the suffering Zimbabweans by helping fix the country just as he promised during coup that he was targeting thieves around Mugabe. Covid 19 donations disappeared and no recovery was made. This donations could have made hospitals ready to fight Covid 19 and unfortunately they did not see it coming for them as well.
Sibusiso Moyo’ s sudden departure will divide the already ailing Zanu pf government and this could pave way for a new political party which is people orientated like MDC Alliance. This is a wake up call to the Zanu pf government that one day you will need the local health care system as Covid 19 does not discriminate regardless of your political affiliation.
